Fêtes de la mirabelle
Sweet Mirabelle plums are a specialty of the Lorraine region in eastern France, accounting for approximately 70% of the world’s production. The largest commemorative event takes place in the capital of Moselle department, Metz, which this year celebrates its 77th anniversary. The focal point of the event is a large market where you can meet growers and taste delicious fruits.

Fête du Citron
Every February, the gentle Mediterranean town of Menton is bathed in vibrant colors to celebrate the annual Lemon Festival. Flower parades take place along the Promenade du Soleil, accompanied by dancers and brass bands. At the Jardin Biovès, visitors can marvel at towering citrus sculptures that glow with dazzling shades of orange and yellow during the nightly light shows.

In the town of Charleville-Mézières, a biennial festival puts puppets in the spotlight.
